Trump v. Nixon?

I came across this video on the problems that arise from comparing Trump's scandals to Watergate, and why it can sometimes be inaccurate and unproductive to draw these parallels.

One the biggest differences that the video claims distinguishes the two scandals is the media landscapes that surrounded each administration. Before the advent of blogs, push notifications, and Twitter, most Americans received what were essentially the "same news". This draws contrast to today's specialized news channels each designed to appeal to certain political orientations, which in turn present information in a way that will appeal to their viewers.
